What is your impression of Financial Advisers?

  • They receive big fat upfront commissions
  • Not professional when compared to accountants and solicitors

These comments are not uncommon but herein lies a misunderstanding of how the industry has evolved and how we are so very different.

We are a part of a boutique firm of independent financial planners. That means we are not owned by a big firm, we do not have to meet sales targets or have big overheads to cover before we make a profit.

Unlike Banks or Building Societies, our business model is based on service not sales. When we continue to speak to our clients, they can be assured it will not be to sell them another product.
